Associate Professor – New Media & Cyber Culture
Faculty of Arts
The Faculty’s School of Social Sciences, Media and Communication is
seeking to appoint a full-time Associate Professor in New Media and
Cyber Culture Studies who will teach in the Bachelor of Arts and the
Bachelor of Communication and Media Studies degrees.
The School is one of three Schools within the Faculty of Arts and
incorporates the following Programs: Communication and Cultural
Studies, Science, Technology & Society, and Sociology.
To be successful, you will have an established reputation in New
Media and Cyber Culture Studies, demonstrated by publications,
teaching experience, postgraduate supervision, success in attracting
competitive research grants and appropriate professional experience.
You will be expected to contribute in a senior capacity to School
administration and you may be expected to take School leadership
responsibilities. You will join one of the School’s three Programs
but may be expected to contribute to teaching in other Programs
within the School as appropriate.
