::fc-announce:: INTERNATIONAL 7TH GOLDEN SAFFRON DOCUMENTARY FILM FESTIVAL

Our preparations for the organization of the festival have started in our county, which has an important place in our country and has succeeded in entering the World Heritage List of UNESCO with the efforts in the protection of historical and cultural environment, at international level as it was last year.

We're rendering our thanks to everybody who has provided their interest, contribution and help for our attempts to organize a festival with the knowledge and experience gained from 3 National-level and 2 International-level festivals that were organized previously.

As it is known, our festival aims to continue the sensitivity for the protection and and conveying of the cultural values particularly in Safranbolu and in our country in general to the next generations and bring up through the medium of Documentary Film Festival.

The meetings started with the attendance of the committee members in December, 2004 to organize the International 7th GOLDEN SAFFRON Documentary Film Festival that will be held from the 9th to the11th September, 2005. These meeting will continue until the Festival date.

The specification and participation forms for the Documentary Film Competition, for which high participation is expected , are available on our website.
