ANAT currently has two vacancies:
 
Position: General Manager
This senior position is responsible for management across all of the
Australian Network for Art and Technology¹s activities including financial,
administrative, human resource and business development. This position
reports directly to, and deputises for the Executive Director.
 
Applicants should have strong leadership qualities, excellent organisational
and interpersonal skills, and demonstrated strength in project management,
time management, analysis and problem solving. Experience in arts and
cultural sector or not-for-profit management and a clear understanding of
the legal responsibilities of a not-for-profit organisation is required.
 
ANAT is Australia's peak network and advocacy body for artists working with
science and technology, creating opportunities for innovation, research and
development both nationally and internationally. The General Manager is
integral in enabling ANAT to create connections and collaborations across
art, culture, science and technology.

Position: Technical and Design Officer
The Technical and Design Officer¹s responsibilities include the development
and implementation of ANAT¹s internet, print design and technical
programming, and providing strategic advice on emerging communications
technologies.
 
You will need to be a great communicator with an interest in media arts,
with the ability to work both cooperatively in a small team and
independently. The successful candidate  will have proven skills in  web
design and authoring, graphic design website and database management as well
as experience in an Apple environment and working knowledge of web
programming and scripting languages, MySQL + PHP programming.
 
As a part of its commitment to the media arts sector in Australia ANAT is
redeveloping its current website to deliver a complete online art portal
which will profile Australian media arts in all its forms. The ability of
the Technical and Design Officer to work with a Project Officer in
implementing  specific areas of redesign will be considered. The position
may vary between 4-5 days per week.
